Faton Krasniqi, Director of Programme Operations, Save the Children International in Nigeria

Mr.Krasniqi has 23 years of extensive managerial experience in the non-profit sector and a record of success in designing adequate initiatives and ensuring visible impact. He has over twenty years’ experience working in the humanitarian relief and development sector leading complex, multi-sector responses and teams in over 5 different emergency contexts. Mr.Krasniqi worked in all types of emergency contexts – including first-phase, protracted crisis, conflict, natural disaster, recovery/DRR and development – Mr. Krasniqi has a wide range of skillsets, an excellent technical grasp of programming, and broad geographical humanitarian response experience in Middle East, West and Central Africa, and Eastern Europe) and proven operational leadership expertise.  He has worked with well-known International INGOs in Kosovo, Turkey, Iraq, NE Syria and Nigeria. He has vast experience leading programme and operations teams in fragile contexts and challenging conflict settings.  In his most recent position as the Director of Programme Operations in Nigeria, he has demonstrated a tremendous ability to support and maintain numerous programmes in the country and support a considerable number of children and their families affected by conflict/insecurity and poverty in Nigeria. Mr.Krasniqi holds an MBA degree in General Management from University of Sheffield in United Kingdom and it is both a chartered Business consultant and Trainer.
